Privacy policy (written for students and parents)

Most JEE and NEET aspirants are under 18. ViJEEta is built and operated by Vedantu Innovations Pvt. Ltd. under a strict rule: student data is processed solely to teach you, score your tests and keep your account secure. We run no advertising pixels, no behavioural ad profiling and no third-party analytics trackers on any page.

1. What information we store and why

  • Account details: Your email address or Google sign-in identifier, display name, class (11, 12 or dropper) and chosen exam (JEE, NEET, ISI or IOQM), used to save your progress across devices.
  • Age band & guardian consent record: Whether you are under 18 or 18+, and for under-18 students, the timestamped parent/guardian consent record required before saving personal learning history.
  • Graded answers & test attempts (the learning diary): Your responses, time spent per question and test scores, used exclusively to compute your chapter mastery, readiness and Fix Pack review schedule.
  • Tutor & coach memory (if used): A list of your weak subtopics and recurring mistake patterns so the coach and AI tutor can give relevant explanations.

2. What we never do

  • We do not load Google Analytics (GA4), Meta pixels, or third-party ad scripts on student pages.
  • We do not sell, rent or share student records with advertisers or data brokers.
  • Public pages count aggregate page interactions without cookies, IP storage or user identifiers.

3. Ask Z eligibility (18+ Wave 1 trial)

During Wave 1, interactive AI doubt threads are restricted to eligible users aged 18 and older who confirm their age band. All students of every age receive the complete human-verified worked solutions and adaptive practice sets.

4. How to inspect, download or delete your data

Signed-in students and parents can open Profile → Your Data (/prep/me/data) at any time to:

  • Read every item stored in tutor/coach memory and click Forget me to erase it immediately.
  • Download a copy of your account and test history, or request complete account deletion.
  • You may also email support@vijeeta.com from your registered email address to request data export, consent withdrawal or account deletion.
