Tests — the adaptive engine and the premium pool

Chapter tests are computerised-adaptive: every answer updates an EAP ability estimate and the next question maximises Fisher information at your level. The serving policy mirrors the real exam: ~80% MCQ / 20% numeric (JEE Main's own 20:5 pattern), at most one question per variant family per sitting, warm-up starts easy for a fresh student and at your level for a returning one.

Pool priority is a strict waterfall: the curated premium pool — human-written test-series anchors and their calibrated variants — serves first, and the wider bank opens only if you exhaust a chapter's premium. Across 118,603 bank questions, ~40k are premium-tier: at 13 questions a day it would take a two-year student the whole run to drain it. Questions you've answered correctly are retired everywhere (except bookmarks and real papers) — you never re-prove what you've proven.
